A very concerned citizen for common sense.
 Hi Rob:

It just doesn't make any sense to have a jail facility anywhere near residential and or commercial
property.   A lot of the boyfriends and spouses of these jailed women are involved in the drug traffic
business, as well as writing bad checks, child abuse, burglary, larceny and perhaps even murder.  A
growing city does not need that kind of visitor parking right here in our front doorway.

I have written opposition to Dianne Jacob and her response is still in a 'moving forward' attitude by
not putting up any opposition to the E.I.R.   Even though I have personal ties to Supervisor Jacob,
I can only use a diplomatic 'common sense' approach to a non-sensical situation because of our mutual
    friendship.

It just doesn't fit in our neighborhood.....PERIOD !   Santee needs to incorporate into a full blown
city in order to put a stop to this project.   When we are dependent on the County Sheriff's for police
protection, that's like holding us hostage until we agree on allowing the Las Colinas project to
be built.   Why can't the county put this facility nearer the 52-125 interchange ?  Or...cutting a deal
with the Indian Tribal Community ?  Anywhere but in the 'core of the Santee Municipality' where
the good citizenry lives in a medium to high density populace vulnerable to predators.

Living in New Frontier, we are senior citizens and are vulnerable to crime problems with associates,
spouses and friends of these jailed women by living only 600 feet away from this new project, which
in time will continue to grow and ultimately become a 'high rise' criminal condo project....
I'll lay money on that one......

Government operates in only one way which one can compare to taxation.   Once a tax has been
placed on the people, it will NEVER go away.   Likewise with government projects.   Once they are
on the agenda they will NEVER go away.

Las Colinas is a precident that needs to be relocated.   How about adjacent to the Sycamore Canyon
dump so they can get a good whiff of their own trash !   (Pun intended)

MOVE EM OUT OF DODGE CITY MR. MAYOR.  THIS PLACE IS FOR THE HARD WORKING GOOD FOLK !

    Sincerely yours,

    Robert L. Groff
A resident of New Frontier Mobilehome Park and
a very concerned citizen for common sense.
Thank you to Mr. Robert Groff

A comment to Mr Roberts from Chris Bailey
By dismissing the London Report, you are looking for a "Quick Fix" to the County's opperational problem. But your quick fix will create new problems for the residents, businesses, preschools, elementary schools, high schools and sadly the elderly residing in direct proximity to the jail facility.

I just can not believe that the County of San Diego had no idea
I am sure there is a better place to rebuild Las Colinas if they really think they must have it bigger then here in Santee. I know that that City of San Diego is looking at selling some of their property and since most of the "residents" at Las Colinas are not Santee resident then why does this have to continue to be here in Santee?

Sports Complex AKA As the wheel that cost a fortune
I am not interested in becoming Poway South, just because Poway has a sports complex does not excite me to invest tax payer monies in a project that will take decades (if ever) to recoup.
