I guess I am really disappointed in what our elected officials are doing all the way around. First, that the citizens where not advised of this matter until it appears to the general public that we did not care so that is against us. Second, for not taking note of what might happen 10 plus years ago when they made different agreements with the County. I am not really sure that I know what is really the truth on this matter.

I would hate for us to lose that Sports Complex that so many of our children have come to love and I have to say I think really adds to greatness that it adds to our community. But I would personally say give it all back if it means that our citizens are going to be safer because the jail is not going to be enlarged and moved to a focus point of our city which would be the case if they are allowed to move it and build on the Old Edgemoor site.

I just can not believe that the County of San Diego had no idea that there was the Day Care at SUMC which has been at the same location for right at 100 years and the Day Care has been there for over 25 years.

I hate to see our City being viewed as by the " Grand Jury" as a great place to build a new "Campus for Inmates" when we have so much more to offer which I know you are fully aware of.

I am sure there is a better place to rebuild Las Colinas if they really think they must have it bigger then here in Santee. I know that that City of San Diego is looking at selling some of their property and since most of the "residents" at Las Colinas are not Santee resident then why does this have to continue to be here in Santee? ( I know I am being very mean)

Not sure if this makes much sense but I will be fighting to not allow them to moved it  from the current location if they feel they have to rebuilt it out here.
